About Basedave

INTRODUCTION:

Basedave is a brief of my real name Bassey David Bassey,using my first and middle name, I came about the name "basedave".
Am a young vibrant Nigerian who have passion for Information Technology(IT) and who is ready to go any length in search of knowledge on the field of Information Technology.

EDUCATION:

I had my primary Education with Lagos Mainland Local Government Primary School(LMLG) after which i moved into high school at (Jubril Martin High School[JMHS]) then i had the opportunity of attending the National Open University where i was studying Computer Science but later dropped in other to search for real practical academic skills.
I then decided to move to a local computer school (IMS)  where i had the opportunity of getting the award of Diploma in computer engineering though i was not satisfied with what i got from the institution. My search for knowledge increases, then i moved on to National Institute Of Information Technology(NIIT) where i had the opportunity of understanding Network Connectivity,configuration and Administration, Server Installation, Configuration, Administration and Maintenance. From NIIT i was awarded with a Diploma Certificate in A+,Microsoft Certified System Engineer(MCSE),Cisco Certified Networking Associate(CCNA).
After a bit satisfaction in my search for skill i decided to pursue my degree proper at Ogun State Institute Of Technology where I got both my National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) degree respectively.
I have also had the opportunity of acquiring different skills due to personal training and research. Got couple of experience from different professional organizations, Namely:

• Phenlake Systems: Network Administrator
• Reality Vacation Innovations: System Administrator and Technical Analyst
• Bincom ICT solutions: IT support, Deployed to Laplace Technology as Server Administrator
• I-skill Limited: Web Administrator and System Analyst / Training Coordinator
• Presently with Laroche Equipment as an Information Technologist: VPN Expert and Server Administrator.   

With the above profile or portfolio, I can categorically say it has not really been an easy journey, but when you make your work your passion then your work becomes a play toy for you.

FAMILY BACKGROUND:
Am the 4th Child in a among the 4 children of my parent,we were brought up in a Christian way (Jehovah's Witnesses) to be precise.My mum worked really hard to bring I and my other siblings up in a Christlike way which am proud to say non of us have deviated.
We lost our dad at a stage when every one of us(My Siblings) have not had the opportunity to complete our education, mama did all she could to make sure we achieved basic education that can see us through life. Dad left us way back as February 13,1993.It was indeed a very big struggle for mum and i will forever appreciate her for that.
